Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Locum Practice Nurse to join a well-established GP surgery in Doncaster on an ongoing basis. The role requires availability on either Mondays & Thursdays or Mondays & Fridays, with flexible working hours. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse looking for regular locum work with competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• General treatment room duties, including:

• Chronic disease management (asthma, diabetes, COPD)

• Cervical smears, vaccinations, and immunisations

• Minor treatments, health checks, and wound care

• Proficient use of System One for patient documentation

• Delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the team to ensure optimal health outcomes

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 months of GP surgery experience as a Practice Nurse within the UK

• Competence in general treatment room duties (asthma, diabetes, smears, vaccinations, etc.)

• Experience using System One

• Available to work Mondays & Thursdays or Mondays & Fridays

• Flexible with working hours

• Available to start ASAP
