Description:
We are recruiting for a Locum Practice Nurse to work with a GP surgery inStowmarket, Suffolk on an ongoing basis. The role is for every Tuesday with flexible working hours, offering a great opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide support in general treatment room duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• General treatment room duties, including:

• Chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, diabetes, COPD)

• Cervical smears

• Vaccinations and immunisations

• Minor treatments and wound care

• Ability to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality patient care

• Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 months' experience as a Practice Nurse within a UK GP surgery

• Experience in the management of chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, COPD, etc.)

• Competent in general treatment room duties

• Must be flexible with working hours (every Tuesday)

• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
